People need to stand up for what is right

Editor, the Advocate:

This is in response to Bob Shults' letter of Monday.

Right on, Bob. We hear a lot of talk about the right being unwilling to compromise on issues. I say, no more compromise. We have already compromised ourselves into a near-socialist state. It's time for us to stand up for what is right, honorable and moral.

Liberalism has dominated our universities for years, and now, they want to liberalize our public schools. Schools should offer a course on how to think straight. Much liberal garbage can be exposed as such if the issues are debated honestly and with no prejudice, especially taking into account unintended and long-term consequences of a given issue.
