Victoria bicyclist struck by minivan released from hospital

A Victoria man struck by a vehicle Saturday night was treated at a local hospital and released, Victoria police said Sunday.

Ronnie Harrison, 26, was exiting a convenience store parking lot on a bicycle in the 2000 block of North Ben Wilson Street when he was hit by a northbound Dodge Caravan, said Sgt. Elaine Moya of the Victoria Police Department. Both Harrison and the driver of the minivan, Malinda Bartholomew, of Victoria, were taken to the hospital. The driver also was treated and released.
