UHV wins third straight game

UHV completed a two-game sweep against Texas Lutheran on Saturday.
The combination of UHV pitchers Savannah Crittenden and Megan Carter allowed six runs on nine hits against Texas Lutheran (2-4) in the first game. The Jaguars (8-6) won 10-6.
After falling behind in game in the first inning, the Jaguars scored 10 runs over the next three innings.
Alex Holland contributed with four RBIs in the first game for the Jaguars.
In the second game, though, the Jaguars allowed 10 hits through six innings, they won the game 6-4.
The Jaguars had a combined six errors in both games, four of which came in the second game.
Holland was the winning pitcher for the Jaguars in game two.
The Jaguars will play their next game Friday at the Gulf Shores Invitational.
