Early voting in Goliad was great

Editor, the Advocate:

I enjoyed my experience with early voting at the Goliad Courthouse Annex on Franklin Street. There is now ample parking space that is much safer than the previous early-voting location. Also, there are two easy-access entrances to the building, north and east side, with the first east-side door remaining locked for security reasons.

While the voting judges and clerks might wish that the area were more spacious, they are doing a wonderfully efficient and courteous job with the facilities provided. Kudos to Mary Ellen "Princess" Flores and her staff, who orchestrates the whole show while fulfilling the requirements of three jobs: county clerk, district clerk, and elections administrator.
