A power outage at the Placedo Volunteer Fire Department has the Victoria County Election Administration redirecting Precinct 12 voters to Bloomington.

Margetta Hill, deputy election administrator, said the central office was made aware of power outage about an hour ago.

"They're working on restoring power," Hill said. "The fire department chief said it would be resolved in a few hours."

The Bloomington Volunteer Fire Department, where voting is also taking place, is a few miles away from the Placedo location, Hill said.

"It's the only outage we're aware of at this point," Hill said. "This will not cause a delay in counting."
