A thunderstorm moving through Victoria and some of the surrounding cities and counties could cause icy conditions Tuesday morning.

About 2 a.m., thunder, lightning and rain could be heard falling throughout some of the area.

If temperatures fall below or stay at freezing, the roads, specifically bridges, could be a major issue throughout the morning, said Penny Zabel, a forecaster with the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi.

Many Crossroads area schools have delayed start of classes Tuesday morning.
