La Camara de Comercio to hold quarterly meeting

La Camara de Comercio will hold its quarterly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at Gallery 313 Rio, 313 E. Rio Grande St.
Mark Martinez, University of Houston-Victoria Small Business Development Center, will present information on the services offered to the community by the center. Martinez is a certified business adviser, according to a news release from the group.
La Camara will host Fiesta Victoria from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. April 5 at DeLeon Plaza. The Fiesta Victoria will include food booths, cold drinks, arts and crafts, children's games, Victoria ISD Ballet Folklorico, mariachi and live bands all day.
La Camara is committed to helping small businesses grow and succeed in the Victoria area. Its workshops, seminars and networking events provide educational opportunities and support, according to the news release.
It offers many other benefits to its members. The group is open to everyone, including those involved with the city's other chambers. La Camara has the goal to create and maintain a climate for business growth and strong quality of life, according to the news release.
