Does your business have a website? According to Google, it should.

The University of Houston-Victoria Small Business Development Center and the Internet giant are partnering to get more businesses online during Get Your Business Online Week.

Through Saturday, the SBDC is hosting free virtual workshops from noon to 2 p.m. at the university's business center at 3402 N. Ben Wilson St. that cover topics from building a website to measuring results online.

Today, 97 percent of Internet users look online for local products and services, yet 55 percent of American businesses do not have a website, according to the press release.

The workshops are open to anyone interested in growing a business and using the Internet as a tool. For more information, visit gybo.com or call the business center at 361-485-4485.
