Deputies with the DeWitt County Sheriff's Office are investigating a tip about a possible bail-out near Old Cuero Road.

The call came in about 4:40 p.m. stating that about 15 people were seen being unloaded from a white Ford F-150 and an unknown model four-door car, said Sgt. Carl Bowen.

The caller thought the people were immigrants in the country illegally. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicles or the people and continued to search the area into the night.
