Best Caterer: Mike Pozzi

Fried turkeys, cheese bacon potatoes and pork tenderloin have put Mike Pozzi in the No. 1 ranking for the Crossroads' best caterer.

This is Pozzi's first time to win in the Best of the Best competition.

"Its feels good to win," he said. "I figured I would be in the top three, but winning is good, too."

There are a lot of good caterers in the area, and he said he is friends with all of them.

To be sure he was the best, Pozzi said he didn't vote for himself or tell his family and friends to vote either.

"I wanted the community to say how good the food is," he said. "I always hear that our food is so flavorful and so good."

He attributes the win to his dedication to producing good food, from the two-day marinades to the tasty side dishes. His cheesy bacon potatoes are what he said people know him for.

The full-time caterer stays busy booking events for the city, weddings, private parties and more.

"I'm just happy the community thinks I'm good enough to be the best," he said.
