Humorous survey response

The Advocate's "Best of the Best" is an exciting race, especially for the winners.

But most don't think of the competition as funny - until you read some of the ballot responses.

And some of those answers were pretty darn comedic.

The Advocate pulled out this year's funniest responses for your enjoyment:

For "Best Handyman," one woman wrote in her husband's name and qualified that he was indeed the best, "per his wife," or because she said so.

Another voter wrote that the "Best place to work" in the Crossroads was "For yourself."

Some might agree with that answer.

Other voters who were unable to find a category amongst the more than 175 categories available on the ballot, simply scratched through the Advocate's "Best of the Best" categories and came up with one of their own.

Have you ever had trouble remembering "the name of that place, on that road, with the thing in the window?"

Some our voters did, too.

And when they forgot the names of the establishments, they would instead write in directions to the place they thought was the best.

And finally, Brother Gary Moses was called out a few times for "Best Volunteer." And when the ballot asked where he worked, one voter made sure to mention he worked "Everywhere."
