There's a reason Baytown Seafood's manager Mann Mak isn't surprised they always win Best Seafood Restaurant.

"Everything is homemade every day. We select the best shrimp and seafood. We don't charge too much and you get a large quantity," Mak said.

Mak said his staff takes pride in their menu. For him, the food business is a passion.

"I love what I do, and I'm happy to be in Victoria," he said. "It's fun and I take care of my business and make sure my customers are happy."

Baytown Seafood makes everything from scratch, with the exception of a couple of items, like French fries and cheese sticks.

"Everything else we make fresh every day," he said. "You can't beat it. And you can't beat the price."
