Best Youth Sports Coach:

Bennett Green Cain

The love of dance and children has kept Bennett Green Cain coaching young children since her high school years.

Cain, 27, is a Victoria native who developed her love for dance through her family's business - the Debbie Bennett Green School of Dancing.

"It all lies in loving what you do," Cain said. "I love children and I love to dance and putting those two together makes sense."

The Memorial High School alum said some of her team - Victoria Strutters - participated in a great contest season and annual review last year.

"This year has been really wonderful," Cain said. "We have a lot of fun in our classes because we think that's one of the most important parts."

The competitive team has 80 dancers and the studio services 375 students in the instruction of music varying from ballet to hip-hop, Cain said.

"Without my mom I don't know if I'd be teaching dance or not," Cain said. "It's important that all children are involved in something and I'm happy that I have so many children that love the sport I love. I'm excited for another great year."
