Utility questions were answered at meeting

Editor, the Advocate:

There was a letter to the editor published in the May 1 Victoria Advocate that contains some misinformation.

The Municipal Utility District held a town hall meeting April 22 at the Port O'Connor Elementary School to answer all questions asked at the meeting, including those questions mailed or emailed in before the meeting and those dropped off at the MUD office by those unable to attend.

The district has printed all the questions asked along with the answers. For those seeking correct information about the district rates and taxes, copies of these printed questions and answers are available to all members of the public at the MUD office or by calling Lori Thomas at 361-983-2652, who can then email the information.

Teddy Hawes, president of the board of directors POCID, Port O'Connor
