Editor, the Advocate:
Shelby Sebastian has experience for the office of Calhoun County clerk. The definition of "experienced": One who is made skillful or proficient through actual practice.
As a 31-year employee of Calhoun County, my family knows firsthand the importance of experience, loyalty, honesty and courtesy in the workplace. We are three generations of Calhoun County employees with more than 70 years combined service to taxpayers.
My daughter, Shelby Sebastian, seeking the Democratic nomination for the position of Calhoun County Clerk, is the perfect example of experienced.
She is the only candidate with in-office county clerk experience - 17 years of service in this office with the last eight years as your chief deputy clerk. If you want someone who is skillful and proficient handling your county records, elect Shelby Sebastian for Calhoun County Clerk in the runoff election. Experience is the key.
Early voting is May 19-23 at the Calhoun County Courthouse. Election day is May 27 at your precinct polling place.
Thank you for your support.
