Thunderstorms are expected to roll into the Victoria-area just after midnight and continue until 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Victoria should expect 2 to 4 inches of rainfall and hail, which may be half an inch in diameter.

Winds may possibly gust to 40 to 50 mph, said Alina Nieves, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

The storm is a result of a cold front. A flash flood warning will be in effect from 10 p.m. Monday until 1 p.m. Tuesday, she said.

The high temperature Tuesday will be 75 degrees; the low temperature will be 57 degrees, Nieves said.
