Wagner's Carnival opens for Memorial Weekend Bash

Wagner's Carnival will open Thursday as part of the Memorial Weekend Bash at the Riverside Park Special Events Area, 311 Memorial Drive.
The carnival will be open from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, one day before the three-day Memorial Weekend Bash begins. Admission to the carnival is free on Thursday.
Wristband specials for $15 will allow unlimited rides from 6 to 10 p.m. daily.
The Memorial Weekend Bash will feature Tejano and Texas country music, along with kids' activities, a barbecue cook-off, bike and car show, vendors and much more.
Performers will include Duelo, La Mafia, Siggno, Granger Smith, Elida Reyna, Masizzo, The Scott Taylor Band and many more.
Tickets to the bash are $7 for a one-day pass or $15 for a three-day pass.
Admission to the carnival is included with tickets purchased for the Memorial Weekend Bash.
Bash hours are 5 p.m. to midnight Friday and noon to midnight Saturday and Sunday.
Wagner's Carnival, which has been in business for more than 30 years, offers a variety of entertainment for all ages and supplies many different types of rides from gentle rides to thrill rides.
This includes old-fashioned favorites like the merry-go-round, tea cups and ferris wheel, and the new fast and exciting rides such as the zipper, kamikaze and hurricane.
Many types of games from skill to luck will be provided. A variety of foods will be available, including cotton candy and funnel cakes.
