Bible was once welcome in America's schools

Editor, the Advocate:
The editorial by the Advocate that ran May 21 and reflects the Advocate's editorial board opinion is laughable. Just above the article is the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Read it, editorial board.
There was a time that the U.S. government printed Bibles for school students. It was a required subject. Bible study is the best thing students can learn. If it wasn't stopped, then the police and courts report would not be needed because students would be taught right from wrong and where they would spend eternity if they do not obey the teachings of the Holy Bible. They would not want to make their Lord unhappy but would want Him happy with them.
