• Occupation: Photographer and sales manager at Blue Lagoon Aquariums
• Hometown: Victoria
• Why honored: I would like to nominate Brandee Hess, a photographer here in Victoria, as my Everyday Hero. She has been running Eight Arms Photography for more than a decade, and she has chosen to hold free photo shoots for all law enforcement families. Hess wanted to show her support and honor law enforcement. She understands that times right now are hard for those in law enforcement, and she has decided to shine a bright light on our families and what they mean to us. I am a sergeant with Gonzales Police Department, and my husband is a reserve for Cuero Police Department. I have been in law enforcement for nine years, and my husband has been in for 11 years. Now, thanks to the generosity of Brandee Hess, my family has some beautiful family photos. Brandee is what a hometown hero looks like. She has chosen to give of her time and talents to help law enforcement families capture precious family moments that will be treasured for years to come. We are forever grateful.
