ALEXANDRIA, La. - Any momentum UHV might have had from a walk-off win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi didn't carry over to a Red River Athletic Conference series against LSU-Alexandria.

The Generals completed a three-game sweep Saturday by capturing a 6-1 win in Game 1 and a 7-6 decision in Game 2.

LSU-Alexandria (22-15, 11-4) claimed a 4-2 win in Friday's first game.

The Jaguars (10-17, 6-9) had only three hits in the second game and scored their only run on a singles by Dalton Rodriguez and Jonathan Banuelos.

UHV was down 4-1 in the final game, but scored five runs in the top of the sixth to take the lead.

Banuelos had three hits and a RBI, Garrett Gray-Mathis had two hits and two RBIs, and Andrew Gross hit a solo home run - his 10th of the season.

But Ziggy Sloan hit two home runs for the Generals, who scored single runs in the sixth, eighth and ninth innings to pull out the win.
