The Goliad County Sheriff's Office continues to search for Dr. Glenn Layne Towery, 56, of Goliad, after he was reported missing by his family Tuesday.

There are no new updates in the case, said Capt. John Pape, of the Goliad County Sheriff's Office.

A post on the Goliad County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page notified the public:

"We have received a number of inquiries about any updates on the missing person case ... At this time, we have no new information to report. We continue to follow up on a number of leads; however, none have yet proven productive. We appreciate everyone who has called with information or to offer their assistance."

Anyone with possible information on Towery's whereabouts is asked to call the Goliad County Sheriff's Office at 361-645-3451 or the nearest law enforcement agency.
