Generals shut out first-place Bombers

BRYAN - Cody Moos delivered seven shutout innings to help lift the Victoria Generals to a 5-0 Texas Collegiate League win over the first-place Brazos Valley Bombers on Monday night at Nutrabolt Stadium.

With the win, the Generals are now tied for first place with the Bombers in the TCL standings.

The Generals (32-19) scored two runs in the sixth and three in the seventh behind Christian Caudle and Chase Evans, who both finished 2-for-4 at the plate with four RBIs.

The Bombers (31-18) only mustered three hits to back Landon Miner, who picked up the loss.

Miner tossed seven innings, allowing three runs with three strikeouts.
