The Dow Chemical Company selected 18 local organizations to receive funding through the 2017 Dow Gives Community Grants Program.

Through grants from The Dow Chemical Company Foundation, the program helps local nonprofit groups implement projects that will improve the quality of life for the residents of Victoria and Calhoun counties.

"This year's Dow Grants recipients will benefit a broad range of needs in the community," said Gabriella Cone, community relations manager for Dow Seadrift Operations. "We had a very good pool of applicants full of very deserving projects that will no doubt enhance the quality of service and care they can provide for the residents of both Victoria and Calhoun County."
