Embrace the holiday season with a night of Christmas carols and worship.

Sing along with family and friends at Carols in the Square at 6:30 p.m. Friday at DeLeon Plaza.

"It's an evening for us to give back to the community and gather everyone together to be with the fellowship," said Al Bump, core member of Grace Journey.

Grace Journey is a diverse group of Christians who are dedicated to inspire and motivate people of all faiths. The organization has arranged men's, women's and teen retreats for people of all denominations for the past seven years.

"Our mission is to reach out and bring people closer to Christ," Bump said.

The Fifth annual Christmas program provides songs of worship and classic Christmas carols.

"This year we have an array of musicians playing within the Grace community," Bump said.

Members also will be making spirits bright with free hot chocolate and Christmas cookies.

Bump said a few parishioners will speak to spread the message of what Christmas is all about.

"We get more and more people every year, and this is something our Grace community tries to make a holiday tradition," Bump said.
