Christmas events in the Crossroads continue Saturday with events scheduled in Edna.

The third annual Miracle on Main Christmas Market will begin Saturday morning near the Jackson County courthouse. The market will feature vendors, food trucks, activities for children, and photo opportunities in a giant snow globe, said Sheila Miller, with the City of Edna.

"Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will also be downtown for kids to take photos with for free," Miller said.

Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be at the gazebo in the courthouse square from noon until 3 p.m. Saturday. The Edna High School choir will also sing Christmas songs around the square at noon.

A Christmas story reading will be at 3 p.m. by the Jackson County Ministerial Alliance, Miller added.

Following the Miracle on Main Christmas Market will be the lighted Christmas parade. About 40 entries will take part in the parade this year, Miller said. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Main Street.

"We invite everyone to come out. We have great vendors and our downtown stores will also be open," Miller said. "Come and enjoy a day in Edna."
