Cold weather continues today, sun returns Friday

Thursday will have a 100 percent chance of widespread rain with a high in the upper 40s and a north 15 to 20 mph wind, according to the National Weather Service.
Thursday night will have a 90 percent chance of periods of light rain and drizzle with a low in the lower 30s and a north 10 to 15 mph wind with wind chills between 25 and 35 degrees.
Friday will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain with a high in the lower 50s and a northwest 10 to 15 mph wind with wind chills between 25 and 35 degrees in the morning. The afternoon will be sunny.
Friday night will be clear with a low in the lower 30s and a west 10 to 15 mph wind.
A gale watch is in effect until 6 a.m. Friday as well as a small craft advisory.
