Victoria could see about an inch of snow Thursday night or Friday morning.

The area is under a winter weather advisory from 10 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday, said Tyler Castillo, a National Weather Service meteorologist.

“We’re expecting rain to eventually transition into a light snow with total accumulations being one inch,” he said. “It will probably only accumulate on grassy surfaces.”

Thursday will have a 100-percent chance of rain with a high in the lower 40s and north winds from 10 to 15 mph.

Thursday night will have a 90-percent chance of a rain and snow mix. The high will be in the lower 30s with north winds between 10 and 15 mph and wind gusts between 25 and 35 mph.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a 20-percent chance of rain in the morning and later becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. The high will be in the lower 50s with a northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph.
