Voices throughout the Crossroads will come together in harmony at a Victoria stage to remind residents that Santa is almost coming to town.

Holiday music will be performed at "Winter Wonderland," which will be produced by Theatre Victoria on Saturday and Sunday at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.

The production is part of the theater's family series and will have 26 actors who will be performing, said Michael Teer, executive director.

"It's a two-act show," he said. "It's going to be a great night with not just secular music but pop Christmas songs, too."

Teer said the production will have a mix of group and solo performances. The singers will perform songs such as "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," "White Christmas" and "Santa Baby."

He said Santa will be present at the event. During the show, kids will be invited on stage for a special treat.

"This is part of our family series, and we want to engage parents and kids, so we can get the new generation in love with performing," Teer said. "Not just on stage but for those on the seats.
