UTSA grad from Cuero earns masters, with honors

Madison Paige Simpson graduated  Dec. 17 from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a Master of Accounting degree, with cum laude honors and business honors. While attending UTSA, she served as vice president (2015-16) and president (2016-17) of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting. Simpson will begin her professional career as an audit associate at KPMG in San Antonio, while continuing her studies for the CPA license. Simpson is a 2013 honor graduate of Cuero High School. She was the 2008 Regional Spelling Bee champion and competed in the National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., sponsored by the Victoria Advocate. She is the daughter of John and Rosalie Simpson, of Cuero.
