12-week weight management program begins Tuesday

Just in time for your New Year's resolution of a healthy lifestyle, Victoria County's Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Family and Consumer Sciences is launching a new 12-week weight management program.
This program will begin Jan. 17 and meet weekly for 12 weeks.
The program consists of weekly lessons to help participants manage their weight, a weekly weight check-in, a weekly challenge to help participants "stay the course;" Dinner Tonight! healthy recipes; and incentives to keep participants motivated.
Registration and weigh-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Dr. Patti Dodson Public Health Department, 2805 N. Navarro St.
Cost is $40 for the 12-week program. Make checks payable to FCS Program Development Fund, and send it along with your name, address and phone number to: Victoria County Extension Office, 528 Waco Circle, Victoria, TX, 77904.
Deadline to sign up is Friday.
