Generals fall to Cane Cutters

YOUNGSVILLE La. - The Victoria Generals' two-game winning streak came to an end Saturday night.

The Generals lost a 10-5 decision to the Acadiana Cane Cutters at Fabacher Field.

The Cane Cutters (21-13) scored six runs in the bottom of the second inning and never looked backed.

Handsome Monica went 2-for-4 with three RBI's, and Logan Bottrell went 2-for-3 with two RBI's for the Cane Cutters.

Jack Kenley went 3-for-5 with two RBI's and Darien Simms went 3-for-4 for the Generals (22-17).

The Generals will wrap up their six game road trip Sunday against the Cane Cutters at 7:05 p.m.
