The Brazos Valley Bombers left the Victoria Generals with a case of the bullpen blues.

The Bombers (10-2) extended their winning streak to nine games by scoring seven runs in the final three innings and ran off with a 9-2 win over the Generals in Texas Collegiate League action late Thursday night at Riverside Stadium.

The teams were locked in a 2-2 tie when the Bombers sent 10 batters to the plate in the seventh inning and scored four runs.

They added two runs in the eighth and one in the ninth and had eight of their 11 hits in the final three innings.

Brazos Valley's Michael Mokma and Victoria's Aaron Cordona were locked in a 2-2 pitcher's duel through the sixth inning.

But after Cardona departed with two outs in the sixth, the Bombers went on the offensive against three Generals' relievers.

The Generals (7-5) had overcome deficits of 1-0 and 2-1, with runs in the third and fifth innings.

Landon Gray walked, stole second and scored on a single by Darien Simms in the third.

Gray singled in the fifth, went to third on a single by Cam Boudreaux and came home when a balk was called on Mokma.

Simms had three hits and Gray had two for the Generals.
