Film Society presents 'Dangal'

The Victoria Film Society will show "Dangal" on Tuesday at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.

Nitesh Tiwari directed "Dangal," a biographical sports drama about former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his two wrestler daughters' struggle to victory at the Commonwealth Games in the face of societal oppression.

The movie will be shown with English subtitles. General admission is $9.

Victoria Film Society members get a $2 discount per ticket on up to four tickets per screening. Victoria College students, faculty and staff receive a $2 discount with valid VC ID.
