UHV hires 2 new assistant coaches

UHV Athletics Director Ashley Walyuchow on Thursday announced the hiring of assistant coaches for the softball and men's and women's golf teams.

Meghan Christensen will join the softball staff, and Garrett Adair will become a member of the golf staff.

Christensen is a native of Grapevine and played college softball at Houston Baptist University, where she was a member of the school's 2011 Great West Conference championship team.

She was a graduate assistant for two seasons at Midwestern State University.

She comes to UHV from Perth, Western Australia, where she spent a year playing and coaching for the State Team.

Adair is a native of Moscow, Idaho, and played college golf at Western Texas College, North Idaho College and the University of Great Falls.

Adair comes to UHV from the University of Idaho, where he spent a year as a volunteer assistant for the men's golf team.
