RICHMOND - Victoria East rallied to win the second set of Monday's District 27-5A opener against Richmond Foster. But the Lady Falcons won the third and fourth set to seal a 8-25, 25-23, 13-25, 14-25 district win over the Lady Titans on Monday at the Foster gym.

East (0-1, 7-9) had a solid performance from sophomore Leilani Wimbish-Gay, who finished with 9 kills and 3 blocks. Zakari Perry delivered 7 blocks, while Loren Escalona had 9 assists. Abby Barnett had 2 aces and Samantha Fuentez added 17 digs to complete the stat line for the Lady Titans.
