The Cuero ISD Education Foundation and Pioneer Natural Resources will host the second annual "Concert for Classrooms" on Nov. 11 at the Cuero ISD Performing Arts Center.

This year's concert will feature Tracy Byrd, a Texas Country Music Hall of Famer and Traditional Country Troubadour.

Best known for his Academy of Country Music Song of the Year and No. 1 hit, "Keeper of the Stars," Byrd has charted more than 30 hit singles in his 25-year career, 11 of which were top 10 hits.

Opening entertainment will be provided by the Rocky King Band.

"On behalf of the Board, I'd like to express my sincere thanks to Pioneer Natural Resources for its investment in the faculty and staff of Cuero ISD," said Jaime Stanfill, education foundation executive director.

Money generated from the concert will enable the foundation to provide grants to faculty and staff of Cuero school district for educational resources, projects and activities beyond the scope of traditional school funding as well as help grow the foundation's endowment and cover its operating expenses.
