The 2018 Nordheim FFA Stock Show brought in a little more at its auction than last year's.

The auction sales generated $82,002 compared to last year's $81,284.

Sara White, agriculture teacher and FFA adviser, said she was "kind of shocked" like everybody else.

"With the oil industry not being so prominent in the area anymore, we weren't expecting to have that increase," she said. "But we are happy to have the support that we do."

Even though the number of students who showed animals remained the same at 29 in 2017 and 2018, they had several new members. White said the new students worked hard to bring new buyers.

Here is a list of the champion and reserve champion animals, what they sold for and who bought them at the Jan. 27 auction.
