College classes delayed due to cold weather

Due to inclement weather, Wharton County Junior College has delayed opening until 10 a.m., according to a college news release.

Otherwise, Wednesday will be sunny with a high around 48 degrees and northeast 7 to 10 mph winds, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday night will be clear with a low around 26 degrees and northwest 5 mph winds.

Clouds will roll in Thursday with a high around 64 degrees and northeast 5 to 10 mph winds.

Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 35 degrees and northeast 5 mph winds.

A freeze warning will be in effect for the Crossroads from 9 p.m. until 10 a.m. Thursday.
