A boil water notice was lifted in Port O'Connor on Wednesday.

It was lifted after the Port O'Connor Improvement District received bacteriological samples from a Victoria lab that showed there were no contaminants in the water, said Callie Stafford, the customer service office manager.

The district issued a boil water notice Monday after a 12-inch line water break on Farm-to-Market Road 1289.

The line broke Friday.
