Yoakum senior Silas Robinson has been selected to the Dave Campbell's Texas Football 2017 Subway Super Team.

Robinson was named to the team on the offensive line.

Victoria East senior Jack Traugott was selected to the team as a fans choice.

Robinson, who has signed with Arkansas, graded out at 97 percent with 91 knockdown blocks and gave up one sack for the Bulldogs, who advanced to the Class 3A, Division I semifinals.

Traugott handled kicking and punting duties for the Titans.

Nearly 3,000 nominations were initially submitted for the team.

The list was trimmed to the 300 players that appeared on the official ballot for the team.

Online voting ran through Dec. 31, and more than 300,000 votes were cast by high school football fans all across Texas, the United States and 34 different foreign countries.
