Victoria Film Society to present 'The Disaster Artist'

A film directed by and starring James Franco, who now has a Golden Globe to his name, will be shown in Victoria.
The Victoria Film Society will present "The Disaster Artist" at 7 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.
When Greg Sestero, an aspiring film actor, meets the weird and mysterious Tommy Wiseau in an acting class, they form a unique friendship and travel to Hollywood to make their dreams come true, according to a Victoria Film Society news release.
The film is rated R with a runtime of 1 hour and 44 minutes.
Prior to the show, the Doe Ray Mees will perform from 6 to 6:50 p.m.
Huvar's Artisan Market will be available for pizza deliveries to the Welder Center.
