Generic Water

Community Action Committee of Victoria administers a Housing and Urban Development program sponsored by the city of Victoria to assist low-income customers with their monthly city of Victoria water, sewer and garbage bills. Walk-ins at Community Action Committee, 4007 Halsey St., are welcome starting at 8 a.m. June 21.

The Community Action Committee will determine income eligibility with customers’ three months of documentation of income provided along with an itemized bill and history from the city water department.

The bill must be an active account in the name of a household member who is 18 years old or older and responsible for the account. Households determined to be income-eligible will be assisted not to exceed $125 per household per year.

The household will be responsible for the remainder of the bill.
