July 6, three Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament of Victoria celebrated the anniversaries of their religious profession. Sister Mary Virginia Sheblak celebrated her 70th anniversary, and Sister Donna Bonorden and Sister Stephanie Marie Martinez celebrated their 50th anniversary of religious profession.

And July 7, four Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament celebrated their 60th anniversaries. They were Sister Stephana Marbach, Sister Serena Etzler, Sister Mary Theresa Fritz and Sister Odilia Korenek.

Together, they all contributed 410 years of service to the Church in ministries of education, health care, administration and pastoral services.

The Most Rev. Brendan Cahill presided at both Masses. Co-celebrants were the Most Rev. David Fellhauer, Bishop Emeritus of Victoria, and priests of the Diocese of Victoria, and visiting priests. Master of ceremonies was the Rev. Dalton Ervin. Bishop Cahill was the homilist for each celebration.

Among the many guests were the bishops, priests, sisters, family members, associates and friends who joined these Sisters in the Eucharistic Celebration and the reception that followed.

After the Mass each day, there was a reception with many guests celebrating with the jubilarians.
