Authorities seized drugs, guns and more than $10,000 in cash from a Victoria home Thursday, officials announced Friday.

Law enforcement officials obtained a search warrant for a home in the 3000 block of Oaklawn Street while serving an arrest warrant for George Garza, a 54-year-old Victoria resident, according to a news release from the Victoria Police Department. Authorities obtained the search warrant after observing drugs and weapons in plain sight.

Victoria police, as well as members of the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals Service, executed the search and arrest warrants.

After searching the home, authorities arrested Victoria residents Robert Garza, 39; Marcus Woodall, 36; and Kaedon Suniga, 18, as well as Brittany Galeana, a 36-year-old Westhoff resident.

George Garza is charged with two warrants for local traffic violations, two counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, three counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance less than 28 grams and possession of marijuana between four ounces and five pounds.

Robert Garza is charged with a warrant for theft of property less than $100 from a previous conviction, possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Woodall was charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between four and 200 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Galeana was charged with possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Suniga was charged with possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, failure to identify fugitive from justice and three local traffic warrants.

Authorities also seized cash; five guns, including one with an illegal, homemade suppressor; and suspected drugs that included large amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs.

According to the news release, authorities discovered evidence of crack cocaine manufacture and distribution of other drugs. They also suspect the cash was obtained through drug sales.

As of Friday afternoon, all five of those arrested remained in the Victoria County Jail.
