VICTORIA — Victoria police are investigating burglaries that occurred at two fast food restaurants Tuesday morning.

The burglaries were committed between 3-4 a.m. at Wendy’s, 3507 N. Navarro St., and Taco Bell, 7902 N. Navarro St., according to Senior Police Officer David Brogger, department spokesman.

Police reports describe damage to the establishments’ drive-thru windows. Police think these burglaries were committed by the same person or group.

Police declined to say what was stolen from the establishments, citing an ongoing investigation.

Brogger said investigators will provide suspect information and photos or video soon.

Anyone with information regarding either of the burglaries is asked to contact the Victoria Police Department at 361-573-3221 or Victoria Crime Stoppers at 361-572-4200.
