Generic police tape

Monday, the Victoria Police Department Special Crimes Unit along with the VCSO and the US Marshal Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force arrested 35-year-old Victoria resident Chlisa Zermeno at a home in the 700 block of Timber Road.

Zermeno had an outstanding warrant charging her with bond forfeiture on a manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams. Mark McDonald, 27-year-old Victoria resident, was also inside of the home. Inside the home, police found methamphetamine, THC oil, marijuana, prescription pills with no prescription, and a 9 mm handgun.

Zermeno was arrested and charged with the following:

  • The original warrant of bond forfeiture on a manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4-200 grams.
  • Manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance 200 grams -methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession of dangerous drugs – three counts
  • Possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces

McDonald was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance 200 grams -methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession of dangerous drugs – three counts
  • Possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces

Zermeno and McDonald remain in the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office jail.
