Victoria police said they arrested a driver Wednesday night after suspected crack cocaine fell on the ground as he exited his vehicle.
A subsequent search then yielded more crack cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, synthetic marijuana, pills and a large amount of cash, according to a news release from Officer David Brogger, a Victoria Police Department spokesman.
Police arrested the driver, Miguel Aguirre, 38, and the vehicle’s passenger, Larry Luna, 48, both of Victoria.
Aguirre was charged with four counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug and tampering with physical evidence. Luna was charged with three counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
Both men remained in the Victoria County Jail on Thursday. Luna was held in lieu of a $120,000 bond, and Aguirre’s bonds were set at $131,500.
