Bee attack

Authorities on Friday released the names of three people treated for bee stings in Victoria days earlier.

Thomas Coronado, 77; Willie Konvicka, 57; and Silvia Coronado, 65, were taken to Victoria hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening, said police spokeswoman Lauren Meaux.

Police were called to the 900 block of South William Street on Wednesday morning where the attack occurred.

According to driver’s license records, Thomas Coronado is a resident in that block.

Both Coronados were taken to Citizens Medical Center and were released, said Jennifer McDaniel, hospital spokeswoman.

As of Friday afternoon, neither DeTar Hospital Navarro nor Citizens had any record of a stay by Konvicka.
