Deputies arrested George Anthony Garcia, 38, of Victoria, Wednesday, on suspicion of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 200-400 grams, possession of marijuana between 5-50 pounds, engaging in organized criminal activity and cruelty to non-livestock animals involving torture.

Garcia remained jailed Thursday on bonds totaling $110,000.

In an unrelated case, deputies arrested Nicholas Raymond Mendoza, 18, of Victoria on a warrant charging him with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Mendoza remained jailed Thursday on $50,000 bond.
