Marr defeats Fowler

We have a new sheriff in Victoria County. Justin Marr defeated Dale Fowler in the Republican runoff. In doing so, he will become the next sheriff because he faces no Democratic challenger in November's general election.

Ashley Hernandez wins

We now know who the Republican candidate will be in the November Election for the Victoria County Tax Assessor-Collector. Ashley Hernandez beat David Hagan to get the nod. She will face Democrat Jane Bernal in the fall.
